About Me

"The main purpose for the trip and the activities is to expose our kids to symphony players, actors, and rhythmic artists, conductors and directors that are at the pinnacle of their craft. The hope being, that our students will connect the fact that we are not different as people – as humans, but what these people have done is invested the time and hard work, and preparation and education in their own talents to become the best." The grand entrance to the Senior Suite....

Home Again, Home Again, Jiggety Jig Jig...

Well.....the LCHS Band caravan rolled into town at around 11 pm. Happy to report a safe, uneventful trip home.

The Seniors created for themselves (in the back of their bus) the Senior Suite. Entering the suite as a non-Senior only required two very simple things: 1) you had to use the restroom and couldn't possibly wait until a stop and 2) you chanted "I love Seniors more than I love myself." After that, you were blessed w/ entrance into the Senior Suite AND the restroom (however, no lingering in the suite of course). (Upon arriving home, it has also come to my attention that there was a Sharpie Tattoo Parlour within the suite......Um. Mr C?????)

Please continue to check in the next couple days...I want to wrap this blog up in a tidy manner and have a few closing blogs yet to post.

Stay tuned.......and know that your kid(s) are SUPER excited about getting for school in the morning......
