What a Tilt-A-Whirl of a town....

CLEARLY we come from the midwest. We watch for cars, we wait politely for the stop light to tell us to walk instead of going when we feel like it, our eyes are in a constant saucer-like state trying to take in all the sites,  we wince roughly every 13 seconds as we're certain we're going to witness a car wreck and we talk funny. Yes, we talk funny. Says those from "Joiysssssey".

Four hour NYC tour with guides on each of our busses. Amazing things we learned about this city.

Imagine: the 86th observation floor of The Empire State Building with not a cloud in the sky and 25 mile visibility?

And 2 hours to roam with our groups (chaperoned).....many of us were drawn to Times Square like I am to a Diet Pepsi each morning. It was just meant to be.

Tomorrow: another 12 hour day that will go by much too quickly: a boat ride to Lady Liberty, another to Ellis Island and the awesomeness of the New York Philharmonic in the evening.

Last advice before taping the kids in for the night (ask them about this ritual):  Plan to be gone 12 hours, go on a several hour chilly boat tour, walk lots and be all dressed up (no jeans/tennies) after dinner. All w/out going back to the hotel. Oh....and.......pack lightly.  Very funny Mr. C. :)

They Have Returned.....

Yes, all 116 Energizer Bunnies are back again, up, showered,  chatting, eating, wearing cute sandals, new outfits, chatting and for some, what they wore yesterday. And all electronic devices are FULLY charged. But all are ready for our 4 hour guided bus tours of NYC!! Bring it New York.....kw
